Commissioning service at Harvest Fellowship, July 31, 2005
Koinonia House began as a prayer group in January, 2005.At that time people were simply gathering with us in our home to cultivate, in prayer, the vision for this new church plant.From that prayer group a church planting team began to form that would be commissioned as Koinonia House.On July 31, 2005 a team of 14 adults and 8 children were commissioned jointly by Harvest Fellowship, as the church family we were coming from, and DOVE Christian Fellowship International, the network of churches which we were becoming a part of and who would be our oversight for the new church plant.
As a church our goal is to cultivate relationships and community, not only among fellow believers, but with all people that God brings into our lives.We will seek to be Jesus to those people we relate to, simply through the realities of everyday life, in the hope we will have the privilege of one day introducing them to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.
